How does payroll outsourcing work?

Payroll outsourcing is the use of a third-party payroll provider to process a company's payroll. When processing a payroll, inSync Payroll Services withdraws the appropriate funds from our Client’s designated account, automatically deposits the appropriate pay into the employees' accounts or prepares standard checks, deposits the taxes with the required state and federal agencies and provides complete online and hard copy reports of everything they do. Each quarter inSync Payroll Services reconciles these transactions (as required by law), and submits all necessary tax filings. We also produce W-2s for each of your employees and deliver at the end of the year.

If inSync Payroll calculates and files our Tax Payments, am I still assuming the risk?

NO – inSync Payroll takes on the responsibility of paying your taxes which includes the payment of penalties and interest if ever such is assessed by the IRS (client must provide accurate information)

What does "All-In" Pricing mean?

Just about all Payroll Service companies have quite a complicated and confusing system of calculating your payroll fees. There is the base price per payroll, then an added fee for each employee, then an added charge for quarterly filings, then there is a base fee for W-2 with an added fee for each W-2 printed, oh, and then there is a fee for re-runs, and fees for additional reports, and fees for additional direct deposits per employee – WHEW - At inSync Payroll, it’s ONE “All-In” monthly fee – everything is included and there are NO add-on fees. Unlimited payroll for ONE Price.

Are there any mailing fees?

inSync covers all standard USPS mailing fees. Any express delivery fees are at the request and responsibility of the Client. We are happy to use your account number to ensure you get any negotiated discounts or services.

Can I start in the middle of a quarter?

inSync Payroll can get you started at any time. In addition to the standard documentation, all we need is your payroll and tax records for the current year. If you are currently using another payroll service, or have the information in a spreadsheet format, they can often import this information directly into our system. The conversion to inSync is easy and seamless.

Do you offer Direct Deposit?

Yes. Your employee's pay can be distributed into multiple accounts at any bank receiving ACH files.

What kind of user access is available?

inSync provides you and your employees with full or restricted access (based on level/use) for an unlimited number of users. For example, your HR director may need full system access but a department supervisor can be limited to approving employee timesheets for their department. At your discretion, your employees can have access to view their pay stubs, change their contact and withholding information. Because we are web-based, users can access their system in real-time from multiple locations giving them access to timesheets, reports and more from anywhere with an Internet connection.

What are the available payment methods with inSync ?

We can pay by paper check, Direct Deposit (ACH) or to a PayCard, using our Paycard Program (see our Paycard Program for additional details)

Does inSync Payroll Services provide agency checks?

Yes. ISP can prepare agency checks on your company's behalf for items such as wage garnishments, 401k deductions or child support payments. All Agency Checks are recorded on the Check Register.
